Our Programmes
Baby Aquatots Swimming & Accompanied pre-school
Start classes with your baby from 6 months!
When you introduce your baby to swimming early, it prepares them to be confident Swimmers later in life. Swimming is a natural experience for babies, and Swimbrite planned activities will achieve much more than just letting your baby splash about!
You’re a vital part of the learning process!
We offer 30-minute classes with up to twelve baby/parent couples in a pool whose ambient temperature averages 29° C. We are teaching you how to teach your baby to swim and you will play a vital part in their love of swimming and the water.
Progression between these stages will not only be dependent on baby’s age and development but also on the effective application of our modules and use of progressive practices in our classes. Your teacher will advise you when your baby is ready for the next step.
What Will Your Baby/Tot Learn?
Learning to swim as a baby will teach your child to be wonderfully confident in the water. Teaching your baby to swim is one of life’s true pleasures. It is an activity that plays a great part in the bonding process between the parent and child.
Your babies instruction to water, from the very first bath to the first visit to the pool should be one of fun and happiness. This is what your baby will learn in our aqua tots sessions through song, play and basic instruction. We teach the parents how to hold their babies in the water and how to give them the ‘confidence factor’.
Contact UsBuilding bonds through water play
As you reassure and guide your baby through our lesson activities, it will strengthen the bond between you. The lessons are very sociable and will give you the opportunity to make new friends together.
Helping your baby develop physically and mentally
Our instructors teach in the pool using natural buoyancy to improve your baby’s co-ordination and balance, develop muscle control and strengthen their heart and lungs. Progressive exercises encourage them to move independently, hold onto the side and boost their confidence in the water. But more than that, our unique Swimbrite programme also uses words, symbols, sounds and gestures – teaching your baby to respond to commands which can help facilitate mental alertness and improve their level of understanding. Fun activities stimulate their memory, problem solving and abstract thinking.
Children
Group & Private Lessons
Start at the right level for you
Whatever your age or swimming ability, our fun and motivational classes teach you how, why and what you should be doing in the water. Our friendly teachers train you in the pool as you adapt to the water, learn to float, and swim. You’ll learn to relax, control your breathing and see how the right movement generates effortless swimming.
We pride ourselves on personally training children to swim in our 6:1 ratio group lessons from Foundation to Learn to swim Stage 3 and 8:1 for Learn to swim Stage 4 and above. We offer private lessons on a 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 ratio. You can join the programme at any point from the age of 3 where you will be booked according to which level you are on our programme. In a nutshell, our programme is based on the principles of relaxation and floatation and delivered by trained Swimming teachers. Whether you’re a beginner or an improver we’ll teach you how to swim the correct strokes until you’re swimming with confidence and eventually improving your lap times too!
Our classes are 30 minutes or 1 hour for the more advanced Swimmers.

Personal training … in the pool
Swimbrite for Adults is an intensive but patient teaching programme tailored to your needs. We can teach anyone to swim from scratch or improve your swimming to a level where you are a strong and confident swimmer, swimming for fitness.
Same method, Same mechanics
As an adult you want to learn fast, so we’ve tailored our programmes and our expert instructors to deliver the results you want quickly. Whilst the mechanics and methods remain the same, the design of the programme is innovative.
You learn what to do and come to understand the mechanics and different exercise (drills), aiming for rather shorter distances to maximise your sense of achievement.
Your teacher will work through a set of lesson plans as you learn to swim and improve your strokes.

There are options for:
Half Day 9-12pm

Extra Hours 8-9am and 4 -5.30pm
The day will start with a morning swimming lesson with our STA and Swim England instructors. The swimming groups will be based on ability in order to best support each child’s needs. Once changed we start the icebreaker games in order to help the children to get to know each other and then into some fun active games to get them running around and having lots of fun.
The full day attendees tuck into some well deserved lunch. The afternoon is an opportunity for your child to explore their imaginative and creative side with some planned arts and crafts activities. There will also be an opportunity for those who may not feel like doing arts and crafts to play some sports.
We then return to the pool for a pool fun session where your children will have time to continue building their confidence through water play, our staff will be located both in and on poolside to help keep a super safe environment. It is then time to get changed and ready for home time.
For those on extra hours this becomes a more chilled session after an extremely active day where the children will have the option of movie time, continuing arts and crafts or board games.
We also offer themes days during both the October and April holidays with more seasonal themed activities include face painting and fancy dress at Halloween and Easter Hunts during our Easter Camp.
